Full Day Excursion to Pahalgam
After breakfast, proceed for a scenic drive to Pahalgam, the “Valley of Shepherds.” En route, enjoy sightseeing at Pampore (famous for saffron fields), the historic ruins of Avantipura, and the picturesque village of Bijbehara, known as the bread basket of Kashmir. From Khanabal, leave National Highway 1A and pass through Anantnag, the second-largest city in the region. The journey becomes more scenic as the road runs alongside the beautiful Lidder River, offering breathtaking views. On arrival in Pahalgam, explore popular attractions such as Chandanwari, Aru Valley, and Betaab Valley (at your own cost) by local union cabs. Chandanwari, located about 16 km from Pahalgam, is famous for snow sledging, snow bridges, and stunning mountain views. The drive offers mesmerizing landscapes with the Lidder River on one side and snow-capped peaks on the other. It is also a popular picnic spot and accessible by road, though weather conditions can be unpredictable, so warm clothing is recommended. Aru Valley, situated approximately 12 km from Pahalgam, is a pristine village surrounded by pine forests, lush meadows, and majestic Himalayan views. It is a popular destination for trekking, hiking, horse riding, and winter skiing, making it a must-visit place in Pahalgam. Betaab Valley, named after the famous Bollywood movie Betaab, is one of the most beautiful valleys in Kashmir. Known for its lush greenery, flowing streams, and serene atmosphere, it is located close to the main town of Pahalgam and is also a favored spot for nature walks and camping. Later in the evening, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Transfer from Srinagar to Gulmarg + Gulmarg Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a scenic drive to Gulmarg (approximately 52 km), one of the most popular hill stations in Kashmir. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and soak in the breathtaking panoramic views of snow-clad mountains and lush meadows. Please note that due to local union regulations in Gulmarg, the vehicle will drop you at the hotel only and cannot be used for further sightseeing. Local sightseeing can be done by hiring pony rides, horse rides, or ATV bikes at an additional cost, payable directly. You may visit popular attractions such as Maharani Temple and St. Mary’s Church through pony rides (at your own cost). The Maharani Temple, built in 1915 by Mohini Bai Sisodia, is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati and is a significant historical landmark in Gulmarg. The temple also gained fame as a filming location for the Bollywood movie Aap Ki Kasam. St. Mary’s Church, built during the British era in the early 20th century, is one of the oldest churches in Kashmir. Constructed with grey stone walls and a green-tiled roof, the church looks especially stunning during winters when surrounded by snow, offering a peaceful and scenic experience. A highlight of your Gulmarg sightseeing is the world-famous Gulmarg Gondola ride (cable car), one of the highest cable car rides in Asia. The Gondola operates in two phases: Phase 1 takes you from Gulmarg Resort to Kongdori Station, while Phase 2 ascends further to Apharwat Peak, offering spectacular views of the Himalayan ranges. Gondola ride timings are generally from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, subject to weather conditions and operational guidelines. Later in the evening, return to your hotel in Gulmarg for an overnight stay.

Transfer from Gulmarg to Srinagar Houseboat + Srinagar Sightseeing
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed towards Srinagar. Upon arrival, enjoy a full day of Srinagar sightseeing, covering the famous Mughal Gardens, Shankaracharya Temple, and Hazratbal Shrine. These iconic gardens are beautifully located along the banks of Dal Lake with the majestic Zabarwan Mountains forming a stunning backdrop. The sightseeing locations are approximately 12–15 km from Srinagar city. En route, visit a traditional carpet-weaving factory and explore the heritage lanes of Old Srinagar City. Visit the renowned Mughal Gardens of Srinagar, including Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. Nishat Bagh, also known as the “Garden of Gladness,” is the second-largest Mughal garden in Kashmir and offers panoramic views of Dal Lake and the Pir Panjal mountain range. Shalimar Bagh, the largest Mughal garden in India, is famous for its symmetrical design and looks especially beautiful during the spring and autumn seasons. Chashme Shahi, built around a natural freshwater spring in the Zabarwan Range, is admired for its terraced layout, fountains, and serene ambiance. During the spring season (April), you may also visit the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, Asia’s largest tulip garden. Spread across 12 hectares, the garden features over 70 varieties of tulips, along with beautifully landscaped rose beds, and offers breathtaking views overlooking Dal Lake. Later, visit the ancient Shankaracharya Temple, located atop Gopadari Hill at an elevation of approximately 1,100 feet. Dating back to the 4th century, the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and offers spectacular panoramic views of Srinagar city and Dal Lake. Proceed to the sacred Hazratbal Shrine, situated on the northern banks of Dal Lake. The shrine holds immense religious significance and is revered by the Muslim community for housing a holy relic. In the evening, arrive at your traditional Kashmiri houseboat and complete the check-in formalities. Enjoy a relaxing one-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake (at an additional cost), gliding past floating gardens, lotus flowers, and local aquatic life. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the houseboat in Srinagar.
